Hi foodie peeps! Welcome to another view into my world of eats. 🙂
I figured it was time for me to change up my breakfast this week. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a good bowl of oatmeal, overflowing with nutbutter and fruit, but sometimes you just have to honor your true cravings. Even if you happen to be craving a sweet potato for breakfast. I had baked a few taters in the oven over the weekend, so I simply warmed one up in the microwave and topped it off with greek yogurt, nuttzo power fuel, and strawberries and called it breakfast.
Lunch was basically my second breakfast, but I’m not complaining. I had an avocado, egg, and hummus sammy with veggies and more hummus on the side. Hummus=Yummus.
A few hours later I had a banana with a few spoonfuls of Nuttzo to tide me over until dinner. Can you tell I am nuts over Nuttzo?
Wow, just look at that brilliant lighting (NOT!). I cannot wait for the day when it is still light out at 5:30. Anyway, dinner was Monique’s poblano stuffed peppers with greek yogurt and avocado for topping. I also had some more carrots on the side for that crunch factor.
Instead of my usual muffin/almond butter/apple combo, I branched out and had a cinnamon apple scone.(recipe coming soon) And I also had an apple….because I feel lost if I don’t have one every day.
